1 Piece of Accessory
When going on trips, you don’t want to take too many accessories. You only need one piece of each essential accessory item. This can include a wristwatch, sunglasses, earrings, necklace, hat, and other accessories. Ensure you select accessories with with the colour theme in mind, to ensure that the accessories complement the clothes perfectly. In most cases, black accessories would do the trick however, make this decision based on what is available to you and the colour theme.
54321 packing rule for 2 weeks
To illustrate an example of how to use the 54321 rule for a two-week trip, here’s how you’ll pack for a two-week trip. First, you must decide whether you’ll be doing some laundry. If you will, then you can stick with the rule as explained earlier in this blog – five tops, four bottoms, three dresses, three pairs of shoes, two swimsuits, two bags, and one piece of each accessory item.
However, if you won’t be dry cleaning, the 54321 packing rule can be adjusted by doubling the number of items. Rather than five tops, you’ll need ten; rather than four bottoms, you’ll need eight, and so on. This can also be adapted to suit longer trips. Keep in mind that it’s important to pack based on the activities you’ll engage in as well as the weather.
Which Packing Method is Best
The 54321 packing rule has worked wonders for me. It is very effective for packing just as much as you’ll need for your trip.
